That's right. Since the launch of the New 3DS back in February in North America, you only had the choice to get the New Nintendo 3DS in the XL form, which made fans of the smaller sized system question why Nintendo made this decision. Many people at Nintendo stated in interviews that the reason we were shafted in regards to the regular New 3DS was because they thought Americans were too supid to understand the differences between the regular 3DS (which is pretty much nowhere to be found in 2015), the 3DS XL, 2DS, the regular New 3DS and the New 3DS XL.

Many people were pissed at Nintendo's reasoning behind only giving North America the XL, but in another interview, Reggie Fils-Aime said for people to be "on the lookout" for upcoming SKUs in the near future. So, I'm guessing this would be what Reggie is talking about then.

It has been stated that this is currently the only way to get the smaller New 3DS system here in America. The bundle goes for $219.99, and includes the system, two sets of Animal Crossing cover plates, a 4GB Micro SD card, one Animal Crossing amiibo card, and a download code for the game Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer. The system is available for preorder at GameStop right now, and is set to release on September 25th.

And before you guys ask, yes, I did preorder the New 3DS from GameStop since I've been waiting for this model size for almost a year. I will warn you guys that plan on preordering at least in store, that you're required to put $50 minimum down to preorder this system.

It's a rip off if you ask me. The thing is the same price as the XL. And to make matters worse, the XL game bundles are the exact same price or cheaper.

Besides, it's only available with a mediocre game in an ugly case.

@Nin10dude this console is a bundle. And it will probably be made separately at another time. This bundle includes the system, two sets of faceplates (actually three considering it does have the white faceplate), it includes the game, an amiibo. Okay. Normal 3DS price: $169. 3DS game price: $40. Faceplates in other countries cost around $10-20 each. But we already have it at $220. +Plus an amiibo card. Bruhh.
