Finding a ultra-rare console in your attic is, well... ultra-rare. But, this could make you very rich, too. This lucky man found this console in his attic, and it is surprising to read that this guy found the Nintendo and PlayStation hybrid that never came to market.

(I apologize for the swearing)

According to my source, only 200 of these "Nintendo PlayStations" were ever made, and were "supposed to have been destroyed".

The brief collaboration between Sony and Nintendo in the early '90s brought forth the Nintendo PlayStation. This system was made to play both SNES game cartridges, and compact discs.

Once the partnership ended, Sony went on to create its first video game console, while keeping the name "PlayStation". The PlayStation was made to rival with the Nintendo 64, which was Nintendo's next system after the SNES.

The 200 prototypes that I mentioned earlier were all supposed to be destroyed, but Terry Diebold, from Philadelphia, held onto one and kept it in his attic, until today.

Diebold got a hold of the system while working as a maintenance man, alongside Olaf Olafsson, who is the founder, and former president and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, Inc. from 1991-1997.

When the company he was working for was out of business, Diebold kept this system and stored it in his attic for the time being, before his son, Dan, found it there a few years ago.

The console lacks a power cord; Dan has yet to be able to turn the system on. With this console is a mystery-cartridge and CD (and we can't wait to see what they are).

How much do you think will this find benefit Dan financially, are you as excited to see what those mystery-games are, and would you have bought this system back then if you could?
