Today Club Nintendo shut down so Nintendo could make way for a new rewards program. If you don't know Club Nintendo was a website where when you bought a game from Nintendo (Sometimes from a company Nintendo really likes too.) and then their was a code inside you signed uo for a Club Nintendo account then put the code in and answer a short quiz about how you got the game how you heard about and more. then after that you got coins and once you had enough coins you could get prizes like  cases for Nintendo systems playing cards and more. At the end of the year if you got the target amount of coins or more then you got a nice bonus prize and an even better one if you had more coins/   In more recent years the service got less popular and now had less prizes and also had 2 or so video games you could get a mouth. My theory on why the service is closing is that the quiz's took too long and the prizes cost to much to make and Nintendo want's a new program due to Club Nintendo being opened to the U.S in 2008. IMO Club Nintendo was a great concept even though the quiz's could have been better and the prizes got lame. If you have a different thought or want to talk about Club Nintendo in anyway then write your thoughts below.
