So, for those in the know, the teal-haired synthetic singer Hatsune Miku has a game on the way for the 3DS. You might think that I normally wouldn't be interested in this kind of game. And you'd be right.

However, my Fiancée, being a megafan of all things Vocaloid, has been preaching this rhythm game to everyone for some time, and couldn't wait for its release next week.

Well, about that...

SEGA, the publisher of the series, has announced as of this morning that the title will release with a special launch edition... at an unspecified September date. So, if you're still reading this and not violently rioting outside SEGA HQ, here's what the company is giving for those who buy early:

So, what do you guys think? Are you a fan of the franchise? Are you more excited or angry about the news? Is it bad that I once considered buying a PSVita just for IA/VT Colorful? I don't know if it is sold overseas or the Vita is region-locked or not.

I'm actually quite happy about this, considering I just blew all my money on books today. Time to start saving up again.

kinda wish more it had more vocaloids. Like IA, Gakupo, Piko, Oliver, etc etc.

i'd also say vy2 and vy1 also but they have no official designs *cri*

IA and Piko are cool, especially IA. I'm glad that ONE seems to be doing well, but I'd like an IA V4 once ONE makes up her funding in profits.

VY1 and VY2 have official designs. A fan and a sword, respectively. I think it's cool that they don't have humanoid avatars.
