SMOGamerX (2015-04-15 04:05:42)I liked the old ones but i thought that they were done completely, ill give this game a try, I hope its worth getting it.

Spector (2015-04-15 15:37:02)Kind of cool how they're still releasing it for last gen systems. I'd get it. I had the first Guitar Hero on the PS2 and it was fun.
The thing I'm scared about with this one is, Is that it might have micro-transactions. And no one likes those..

Paradox wuz here.

BlueBlur (2015-04-16 03:55:40)As a long time GH fan, I don't like the new layout. Looks waaay too easy, even if there are six buttons. They won't be able to implement harder song with this setup.

pikarceus (2015-04-16 23:30:10)Looks really dumb. Not a fan of the whole "live action" thing...it's hardly a videogame. The whole thing honestly looks kinda half-assed to me.
TheIronMadden (2015-04-17 03:05:29)I really liked Guitar Hero, and was a big fan of Warriors of Rock. I hope this is turns out to be good, but it kind of disappoints me that they made the controller three frets because it was "too hard" for the more casual player. I have no problem with casual players, but there's Easy mode for a reason.
However, I'd like it if there was RockSmith for the Wii U, but knowing Ubisoft, they'll never publish it for Wii U.
You won't see me here, but you might find me if you look in the right places.
angelrulez7 (2015-04-17 07:00:35)Is this for current gen consoles or the Sega CD during the FMV craze? I can see what they're going for, but I'm not a big fan of the idea.
Also who knows what kind of songs they'll be putting out. For some reason I have a feeling most won't even have guitar in them.

"Does this leave you feeling a little confused as to how Guitar Hero TV works? Me too. I wasn’t able to try it for myself, and Activision is being coy about a lot of the details until the E3 Expo in June. But it did confirm that you’ll be able to play as much as you want in Guitar Hero TV for free. Since it’s highly unlikely that Activision doesn’t have some sort of microtransactions plan to make more money from Guitar Hero TV, there’s surely another wrinkle to this service that we haven’t heard about yet."

Drakkrai (2015-04-18 01:00:32)They need to add more frets. That's what I'm only saying about it.

TheIronMadden (2015-04-18 18:03:51)@angelrulez7- I'm certain they will have a variety of music. It doesn't seem like it's going to specifically be modern pop music like Just Dance, or rock/metal like it was prior to the brief hiatus. Since they have an online service that will provide various songs, they can probably offer all kinds of genres.

carlos11 (2015-04-19 06:13:05)I bet I can still play expert mode all hardcore like I used to. I mean, I played back in the GH3 days, when this game was actually popular, and let me tell ya, it's very difficult to play at the level I did when you're a small kid and your hands are very small.

Nintendo's microtransactions are in minor games, though. They don't put that crap in big titles. Ubisoft and Microsoft started the trend of putting microtransactions in AAA games.
