In this thread, I'm just going to go over all the epic stuff that Nintendo announced in today's Nintendo Direct, for those who missed the broadcast.
1. Mewtwo trailer. Mewtwo will be available as paid DLC on April 25th. For Club Nintendo members who registered both games however, will receive a code on the 15th.
2. Lucas was announced for Smash! Lucas will become available as DLC sometime in June this year.
3. A new system revealed in which you can submit a character, and that character may be put into Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS.
4. Smash Amiibo Wave 4 and 5 release windows.

5. 2 new modes in Splatoon. Ranked Battle and something else that I can't remember, if someone could clarify in the comments down below, that would be great. The game will launch on May 29th.
6. Splatoon Amiibo, Male Inkling Amiibo and Female Inkling Amiibo. These two can be purchased together in a box set or individually. The box set will come with a Squid amiibo, which is exclusive to the box set. These amiibo can serve as preset customizations, so you can take your Inkling to a friends house. These amiibo will launch alongside the game on May 29th.
7. Pokémon Rumble World, a free to play 3DS game that follows traditional Pokémon Rumble formula, and uses PokeDiamonds as currency. PokeDiamonds can be earned in game or through microtransactions.
8. Two new modes for Yoshi's Woolly World, Mellow Mode, letting players play as winged Yoshi, and the challenging Classic mode.
9. Yoshi series Amiibo. These amiibo are going to made out of actual yarn, and can serve as a second Yoshi in game. This said Yoshi can be used as a throwable to access certain areas, etc.
10. Amiibo Tap! Nintendo's Greatest Bits is a free app set for release in Spring this year. This app allows you to scan an Amiibo and get a trial version of a classic game that amiibo was from. However, you do not know which game it is until it is assigned. (e.g. You may scan two Mario amiibo and one may have Super Mario World, the other may have Super Mario Bros.)
11. Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer is a game set for release in Fall this year. This game is different from other entries in the Animal Crossing series. You must design houses for the residents. Each animal will have different tastes, one may want a bookworm style house, one may want a old-fashioned house.
12. Amiibo Cards are NFC Cards that are pretty much Amiibo in card form.
13. 200cc is a new difficulty for Mario Kart 8 that is harder than 150cc, that's all there is to say.
14. Costumes will become available in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS for your Mii Fighters. These costumes include animal costumes (e.g. cat, dog), character costumes, and more.
15. Mario Maker was confirmed to be released this September.
16. More Mii Racing outfits in Mario Kart 8, including Mega Man, PAC-MAN, and Sonic.
17. N64 and DS games will be added to Virtual Console. Yoshi's Island DS and Super Mario 64 is actually already out as of the time I'm posting this.
18. A new Fatal Frame game that will be released here in the west.
19. Shin Megami Tensei & Fire Emblem Crossover Project, the role-playing masters at ATLUS are developing a truly modern RPG, where everyday life exists alongside a secret world of fantasy that includes characters from the Fire Emblem series.
20. A New Fire Emblem Game: For the first time in the series, the main playable character is not only a customizable avatar, but also the main hero or heroine of the game. Players must choose to take one of two major paths, resulting in two different experiences: the “Hoshido†side for a more traditional experience, or the “Nohr†side, which makes the story more complex and the difficulty level more challenging. The new Fire Emblem game will launch for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems in 2016.
21. There will be Mewtwo and Lucas amiibo.
