The Global Trade Station (GTS) has been an unreliable way of trading since Gen IV. I try to obtain a certain Pokemon via the GTS, but when I see people offering said Pokemon, they want very valuable or hacked Pokemon in return--for example, a (high-leveled) legendary, or a legendary that's Lv. 9 or under.

I'm trying to obtain a Venipede, Whirlipede, or Scolipede with Speed Boost. I tried trading a Lugia for a Venipede that I thought had Speed Boost (because Multiscale > Pressure), but I ended up getting one with Poison Point... :/ I pretty much screwed myself out of a Lugia that I wouldn't use (because again, Multiscale > Pressure).

The fact that people can ask for Special Pokemon like Jirachi, which cannot be traded on the GTS, is the reason it's so horrible. It's like Gameprick didn't even care.
