Remember that move in Super Smash Bros. Melee: Wave Dash? It's a glitch move to further improve timing on attacks, and dodging. But that move was removed in Brawl.

But a Youtube user My Smash Corner discovered an alternative way to do Wave Dash on Super Smash Bros. 3DS/Wii U called Perfect Pivoting.

This video goes into detail on how to do it. But for those who can't watch it, I'll just explain the basics: To do it, dash in one side, then quickly flick the control stick to the opposite direction. It may take some practice. However, it's better on the Wii U version, since it has the second control stick to do a quick Smash Attack.

What do you think? Are you gonna use it?

Looks like Greninja's good at this.

It really isn't that useful.

Also, this is really old news.

Saw it before. I just can't do it with my 3DS, so once I get SSBU, hello Classic Controller.

Yeah, I tried, but it just can't be pulled off on a 3DS. Circle pad slips off too often.

Also, I bet this will break analog sticks on the wii u if it becomes part of the meta.

This would be useful...

If Wolf was in the game. Perfect Pivot + that side smash = death.

Just get Project M, Bean.

What I really want to know is what you think of it, Ninten.

"PAL users: there is currently no release for PAL."

It's not released yet?
Bean (2014-12-21 08:49:33)
Check the download page.

@That1Guy
I find it not useful. I can just tip toe out of the way and do the attack. But I just shared it for those who use it, or want to use it.

Perfect pivoting is better for the Wii U version, since it is easier (and more comfortable by far), but is useful in both versions. As shown in My Smash Corners video, its most effective with CF (one of my mains) and has helped me win more of the match-ups I've had than normal dodging at correct times.

plz give
much poor
such charity
