We already knew this. At this point, it's more than just unlikely. It's beyond that.

According to Did You Know Gaming, Sakurai left HAL Laboratory after a few years of Melee's release. When Nintendo revealed that they were making a new Smash Bros for the Wii, Sakurai was surprised. At first, development started without Sakurai. Until Iwata pursuade him to become the director.

For Smash 3DS/Wii U, during the development of Kid Icarus Uprising. Iwata said Sakurai was making a new Smash for Wii U and 3DS. Of course that made him mad since he was still busy with KI:U.

So who knows what will happen in the future.
