When you buy a new game disc, which one would you prefer?
carlos11: Obviously new.

New, occasionally pre owned.

I buy pre-owned games to test them out, then take them back before the buy-back runs out. I then proceed to buy a new copy if I really liked it.

New if it was a good price, pre owned if its the only game that I want and can afford.
hi again

I'd say Refurbished. If you do that, you get a like-new, cleaned disc, but pre-owned.
Are you retro?
Shalala (2014-10-27 02:34:36)
Obviously, new. Of course, if the game's impossible to find The World Ends With You and all I can find is a used copy, then I'll snatch it up straight away.

My friend accidentally preordered two TWEWY copies. He kept one sealed for years, never selling it. He tells me about it and offers to trade. He asks if I have Sonic Advance 3. My brother does. I make the trade and give TWEWY to my brother. Brother opens it, plays it briefly, then sells it. He says he didn't like the battle system.

Idiot.

I never got to play it.

I buy new barely most of the time, If I know the game is gonna have low replay value I just wait for it to be used, then I buy it, play it and then take it back not giving a last crap that I wasted my money.

Many people actually went to Gamestop to buy games with Nintendo codes that weren't used just so they can get Club Nintendo points.
