I love Melee and hate Brawl. I hate Brawl with all my guts. It feels so floaty and slow that it's not fast paced at all. Melee has advanced manuevers like teching and wave dashing, along with feeling heavier. Project M is god like in my opinion.
Smash 4 seems really good despite not being like melee.

The controls are not bad as you say. You over exaggerate, a lot. Look at everyone who has the game. I don't see them rage or complain, or even cry like you.
The game looks even better that you think. It does look par with Melee, just doesn't have those darker textures.
Obviously Brawl had more content is because of the Subspace Emissary. Those levels were exclusive to that mode. And let's not forget that those videos takes up a lot of space. The 3DS does have more content than Brawl.
That Xenoblade stage you're hating on will be the same case for the Wii U version too.
Ice Climbers situation does suck. But if you hate them, why are you pissed that they're not there? That makes no sense.
If it sucked, why it had so much success? In Japan, it sold 1 million copies in just 2 days. 2 damn days! You call that a failure?
Overall, you're just butthurt because almost no one agrees with you, bub.

Super Smash Bros. Melee is an overrated piece of garbage. Honestly, I'd rather play Brawl for the rest of my life then play this train wreck for five minutes.
- Melee lacks content. Sure, the fighting is fun and all, but I like to do other things too. Brawl had a lot of fun extras to play around with. All Melee had were some extra modes that got boring fast. The Supspace Emissary, despite all the hate it gets, is hundreds of times better than the "adventure" mode in Melee. Brawl has snapshots, a decent stage builder, and loads more. Melee has none of that.
- The AI sucks. Sometimes, they'll dodge every attack and combo you into oblivion, and then they'll just walk right up to you while you're charging a powerful attack and wait for you to finish. What kind of AI is smart enough to dodge everything and then die to a move they could have dodged just as easily? Bad AI.
The roster sucks. Dr. Mario is just a pointless reskin, Roy was put in just as an advertisement, Young Link is literally the same character as Link, and Pichu is a complete joke.
Brawl is an infinitely better game than Melee. I don't think Brawl is perfect, but it's definitely a step up from Melee. SSB4 will be a step up from Brawl, and the cycle will continue.
Summary: Melee sucks, Brawl is better, SSB4 is going to be the best version.
