Okay, first of all, Why is everything Pokemon related instantly relegated to gaming? Did the mods seriously forget that Pokemon is a multi-media franchise spanning more than the games alone? Seriously, unless the thread is solely having a discussion pertinent to the games and games alone, feel free to move it.

Second of all, discuss the Pokemon franchise and all things related to the glorious Pocket Monsters.

Unless you're in EU or Japan, The Pre-order bonus is not worth.

There's the benefit of getting the release event on time (Ex: Genesect with B2/W2, Torchic w/ Blazikenite for X/Y), but you generally have anywhere between a week and a month of release.

I hate Pokemon, and I really hate its fanbase. I'll probably get OR/AS anyway and end up hating it, unless, you know, the main game is actually difficult and I don't ROFLSTOMP every trainer.

m8, You have experience, of course the game will be pretty easy. When you start with RSE and end up going back to Hoenn, you have more than enough experience to go through any game easily.

Unless it's Sinnoh. Good god the Elite 4 were merciless and the champion was outright brutal.

Anyways, stop complaining. If you want the game to be hard, play a Nuzlock run with

no items,
no EXP Share,
no TMs,
no Gift Pokemon
2 Pokemon center visits per town
and always set level caps so you don't out-level your opponents.

Y'know, actually make the game harder for yourself?

Sinnoh difficult? I played through the game with a Luxray, Infernape, and Staraptor.

Sinnoh was the most brutal if you were unprepared for the E4. Difficulty spiked higher and higher with each member as their levels constantly increased. Made worse if you didn't have something to sweep through them.

If you had no Grass types, Agatha was a , likewise you needed something to deal with Bronzong in addition to a good Ghost/Dark types for Lucian, a Flying/Fire to deal with Aaron, and a Water/Ground to deal with Flint, and Cynthia was the most unforgivable. Garchomp was a steamroller.
