What is Ghost In The Shell?
Ghost in The Shell is a moderately old anime series, starting originally from the mangas by Masamune Shirow to the games and anime series. It comes under the Cyberpunk Sci-Fi genre, in a setting of the fictional japanese city of Niihama, in 2029. Obviously with the year being 2029, there has to be some twist right? Everyone loves technology, and most people are cyborgs, the police force especially. This advance in technology is very beneficial in various aspects of life.

Niihama Info:
Niihama has several areas, which are:
Market District
Sector 1:
Recreational building section of the city.
Sector 2:
Airport and hotel section. Also contains the police station.
Sector 3:
This is where the Public Security Building is, and the home of Sections One through Nine. This is also where the Hospital is located, as well as the Fire Department.
Sector 4:
This is where all of the big business headquarters are located, like Serano Genomics and Cyberdyne.
Suburbs:
Outside of the city, the suburbs are where most of the working class population tends to live. Unlike the city, this is a much safer area to live, and it's also easier to hide here, too..
Harbor:
Self-explanatory.
City Center: Above.
Warehouse District: Above.
Industrial District: Above.
"Refugee City": An area of the city that has been bombed, and shot up. Refugees usually hang around here.
The Dam Complex: This facility produces 75% of all of Tokyo's power. It is strictly regulated and only select personnel are allowed anywhere near it. This facility is protected by the Military Police, and any trespassing is met with lethal force.

Third-person roleplay, no "Alice: *does this*".
Decent grammar and spelling is required, mistakes are allowed but they can not be constant let ups.
And then the simple rules, no god-modding, etc etc.

You can also be a Fuchikoma or a Tachikoma, a thinking, spider tank with an artificial-intelligence prebuilt into their memory core. Fuchikoma can speak and have different personalities, but they all have the same voice. Names of Fuchikomas/Tachikomas are to be laid out like this: FUCHIKOMA-U124-7713
TACHIKOMA-S124-7713
(extra note; Tachikomas are more relaxed, outgoing units who wish to learn more, Fuchikoma's are more serious, military styled units.)

Name: Amaterasu Hotaru
Age: 27
Physical Description: 6'4 in height due to cyborg chassis and framework, blue eye colour and long black hair which goes down to her shoulders.
Bio: Amaterasu died with her family (which contained of her old mother and father, and her young sister.) when their apartment was raided 8 years ago. Amaterasu, being the lucky one, didn't have her brain blown apart and was able to have it extracted, due to scientists around the world testing with "Shells", practically putting a human brain into a new body. The new body of hers was prepared and successfully created in 2029, and she was brought back into the world. Vengefully, Amaterasu joined the police force of Niihama, and is the newest member of Public Security Section 9.

Name: Teika Takeshi
Age: 19
Physical Description: Long red-brown hair, three red and orange beads, the size of golf balls. A light blue parasol with pink flecks in it, a red kimono with sparkly white-ish pink dots, the neck of the kimono is black, and a white flower pattern on the outside of the black.
Bio: As the daughter of a established businessman, she never became a cyborg, when her father's mansion was eventually bombed (for no apparent reason?), she fell from the balcony in the livingroom, and as a result, was killed.
Immediately afterwards, two officials showed up on the doorstep of the ruined skeleton of what was that grand house, and found her crying and holding her dead and fataly burned father and mother.
They toke her to a cyborg creating facilty, and she became a Prostihc. And then joined the Niihama police force.

Name: Chiyo Hamaka

Age: 23

Physical Description: 7'8 when she has her "jet boots" on, half her head is shaved the other half is jet black chin length hair, dirty blue T-shirt, tattered camoflauge pants, eyes are both cybernetic, most of the time wears a hockey mask and a hoodie to conceal her identity.

Bio: used to be an engineer for Cybernene, decided to try to make her own company but they shut her down, so she decided to become a thief of robot parts, slowly making herself more robotic, enhancing herself in every way, is wanted dead by thee police. Is currently hiding in the suburbs, trying to make a small robot army for herself.

Cyborg?: heck yeah

((RP has started. Start wherever you like; in the city that is.))
-The calm winds of night blow in Niihama, the time being 11:00 PM. The once bustling streets of the Sectors 1 to 3 have silenced, with cars rarely passing through. Workers continue through the night at Section 2 and 4, as well as the Industrial and Warehouse districts. Public Security Section HQ is silent; despite all the open windows and office lights. Police HQ is shut off; no-one is there. The refugee area is less littered with citizens, although you have the odd persons hanging around, usually over a fire. This is where the story starts.-
