carlos11 (2014-08-15 01:21:11)The internet said I need to take apart my wii and fix the disc reader myself.
That's because the rattling sound is caused by something I need to fix manually. Anyway, this wii isn't really mine. It's just a beat up old thing that's there for some reason. I think my family picked it up at some ghetto flea market 'cause tape's the only thing pulling it together. It's missing screws and looks like it's been dropped. Several times.

BirdJesus (2014-08-17 17:07:13)A Wii Mini is a small version of the Wii. I'm pretty sure it only costs around 100 dollars, but fixing your Wii yourself would probably be the cheapest option.

My wii doesn't want to read my brawl disc. For some reason, GameCube games work fine, but when I put in a wii disc, there's this nasty rattling sound. Like a dying animal. Then it stops and it gives me the error screen.
I can't play the game at all, this all happens in the menu screen.
Help me fix it, pl0x.
