Not that long ago, the Japanese magazine Corocoro will reveal the ENTIRE Super Smash Bros. character roster and 3DS stages in its next month issue. To be exact, August 11th.

Keep in mind that both 3DS and Wii U versions will have the exact same roster.

How many characters do you hope to be in Smash? Who do you think will return? Who will not return? Leave thoughts below!

Ness should be in it pretty soon. I place my bets on that Ness will be in the Roster before the beginning of August.

I think and hope about 40 characters will be in Smash, maybe more. I think Ness and Snake will return. Let's see.. who will not return .. Your mom. She was so weak.

Ness has been around from the start. They waited until just recently to reveal Captain Falcon, so anyone missing from the original cast will likely be revealed soon enough. Still want Ryu Hayabusa, tho. Come on. Nintendo has lent Metroid and now Zelda to Team Ninja, so why shouldn't he join the fight?

Shulk (Xenoblade)
Bayonetta (Bayonetta)
Phoenix Wright (Ace Attorney)
Impa (The Legend of Zelda)
Magnus (Kid Icarus Uprising)

The only likely one is Shulk, since the SSB series doesn't allow ACTUAL guns, so Bayonetta is unlilkely and we already have Megaman, so Phoenix Wright is out of the question. The others are in the middle.

Ridley was deconfirmed already. However, the Denial Warriors (what I refer to people who still think Shadow, Ridley, Chrom and Rayman will be playable, even though all three of those but Chrom were absolutely 100% unlikely) are still say he will be in it.

I feel like the only Mother/Earthbound character will be Ness, but if they add another character from that franchise, only add one more and we'll be fine, Sakurai.
