Not sure if I spelled that right. For those of you wondering what the nuzlocke challenge is; here are the rules.

1. Any pokemon in your team that faints in considered "dead" and you have to release that pokemon.

2. The first pokemon you encounter on each different route, you must catch and ad it to your team.

For example, if it's your first time going on a route and you encounter a pokemon, you must catch it. If you are on the same route and see another pokemon, you don't catch that one. However, once you are on a new route you have to catch the first pokemon you encounter.

There are a few other rules that vary on what kind of nuzlocke challenge you are doing.

The rules I am going by:

Same with deaths, and catching except rattata don't apply to the catching rule (to keep it interesting) and I can't catch two of the same pokemon. Eggs are allowed to be in the party. I am only allowed to have 3 substitute pokemon for incase one of my original team members die. I am not allowed to use legendary pokemon.

Here is my current team

As you can see, each pokemon is named after one of the seven deadly sins. That is because I am doing a hell themed nuzlocke. My trainer name is Wrath.

Team infernos history:

After choosing my starter pokemon with my eyes closed, I ended up with Chikorita. "Challenge accepted" I said as I proceeded to name it Envy.

The first pokemon I encountered when I obtained pokeballs was a pidgey. Not bad. I made him pride. Sadly, he did not have the keen eye ability. However, he made a great addition to the team. Next I went on the route north of the first route where the geodude are. Thankfully I didn't encounter a spearo and got a geodude. Due to the roundness of him and his evelutions, I gave him the name gluttony.

I continued at nightfall, on the way to mr. Pokemons house, hopin to enounter a spinark. Instead my first encounter was a hoot hoot. I sighed and unwillingly caught him, knowing I had to stay committed to the rules. He did quickly learn hypnosis and had the keen eye ability so he was not a bad addition to the team, but still I had two flying types which could potentially cause a great weakness to my team. However, I pressed on.

After training each of my pokemon while going back and fourth from new bark town to mr. Pokemons house, I decided to head over to violet city. On the route below it, there were mareeps. Obviously I had no chance of beating Falkner as I was now, so I needed to catch one.

Surprisingly, the first pokemon I encountered on that route was a whopper. A ground and WATER type pokemon. Although I'd never have an electric type on my team now, it was a miracle that I could actually have a water type. I named him Sloth.

I decided to save the last empty spot for Togepi, as it seemed like a better course of action rather then eventually getting stuck with another grass or bug type. I trained each of the pokemon, starting with Sloth. I took him to the route I caught gluttony at and he procceded to one hit KO each one we encountered with a water gun. Amazing.

However, it was then that I realized I carelessly mistyped gluttonys name wrong and would not be able to fix it until I got to goldenrod city. It was then that I promised "gluttuny" that I would keep him alive at all costs so that his name would be fixed. I gave him my word and sworn to keep him alive at least that long.

After I trained them all equally, I took on sprout tower. My two flying type pokemon, Greed and Pride dominated every trainer in that tower, earning them the title of "The wing duo". They made a great team and will most likely be used for all the double battles. The bird duo were now both tied as the highest leveled pokemon on my team.

After I defeated sprout tower, I was still too scared to battle Falkner, as he may be capable of killing one of my pokemon. I decided to train the heck out if my geodude. After some training, I wanted to see exactly how powerful the gym was. I originally planned on fighting the first gym trainer for now then training some more just to see what levels their Pidgeys were, but I ended up one hit KOing both the gym trainers with gluttonys rock throw. This gave me hope. I assumed that the most powerful pokemon Falkner would have would be a level 13 pidgeotto.

I decided to train for half an hour until geodude was level 16. I wasn't confident that any pokemon besides geodude had any advantages when it came to Falkner, besides hoot hoot having hypnosis. I eventually decided that I would give it a try.

With gluttony beside me, I walked up to Falkner and talked to him. There was no turning back now. I KOd his first pokemon, a level 7 Pidgey with rock throw. Ok then. So far so good. Then he sent out pidgeotto. Now I was nervous. One rock throw took out half his health. Now the pidgeotto used roost. Gluttony used tackle, and so did pidgeotto. His tackle only did about five damage to my geodude. One more rock throw was all it took and down went the rest of pidgeottos health.

Gluttuny was now given the title of "badass of the group". Not only did he look manly but he single handeldy took out the entire gym. Well done, man. After I healed up and picked up the egg, I trained Sloth in the ruins of alph since it had high level wild geodudes. After half an hour the egg was close to hatching. I started heading toward new bark town because I new Elm would want to see Togepi and I wanted to give sloth an ever stone.

The egg hatched in cherry grove city, exactly at the halfway point and I trained on the route next to new bark town. Quickly, tough little Togepi (which I named Lust) grew to level 7. After I obtained the ever stone I proceeded to go back to violet city.

Now I am training my Togepi. Next gym is the bug type gym, bugsys. It is now up to the bird duo to ensure our victory. Bugsys now pushover. I must train Pride and Greed extra hard. I will keep you guys updated

Also : since this is hell themed, I'll refer to champion lance as "Jesus" and the gym leaders will be priests. The gyms are churches. I will train my demons to overthrow each of them.

Assuming ill even beat Jesus, you guys know what that makes Red if lance is Jesus, right? Also, Whitney is powerful so I'll consider her the first angel.

What is even the point of commenting that? If you didn't read, I don't care.

Good read, here, have a biscuit for all your troubles.

Can you call Red the "Bearded Bastard"?

@TetrisDude335 I'm actually going to try super hard and see if I can at least come close to beating lance. I might even video tape the battle with Jesus to show you guys how it goes down.

@Carlos Yes, we can call god (red) bearded bastard.
EnVyChRis (2014-06-14 13:07:03)
I thought I was EnVy! Can you change Envy's name to EnVy when you get to the Nickname Rater in Goldenrod?
I just wanted to say I try to be a nice guy. That's all.

Sorry I was gone for so long. Here is my update:

After beating Falkner, I started training the living crap out of Lust, Sloth and Envy. I trained first in the ruins of alph for so long that I ended up finding two helix fossils and an old amber. Sadly, I won't be using them.

I also trained in the cave on the way to the slowpoke town. I used the bird duo, Pride and Envy to fight team rocket in the slowpoke well to train them for the gym battle. After beating team rocket I healed and battled my rival. Sloth almost fainted during that battle but Lust (the Togepi) beat the majority of silvers pokemon, surprisingly.

After that I healed again and started fighting the gym trainers. Here is the bird duo in the double battle.

The bird duo dominated every gym trainer and I barely needed to heal before fighting Falkner. The first pokemon he sent out was his scyther. I used prides gust attack but it barely did any damage somehow. Despite the levels of the bird duo being sixteen, one quick attack from scyther was all it took to get prides health down to about 11.

I tried sending out Greed, the same happened with him. I was suddenly in a panic. I could hear jesus laughing at me from the pokemon league. I had no idea which pokemon I could use to beat scyther since my two flying types weren't powerfull enough. I sent out the badass of the group, gluttony and his high defense allowed me to heal the bird duo without worrying about anyone dying. I decided to try attacking. One rock tomb brought the rest of scythers health down. Gluttony has saved our asses once again.

Metapod and Kakuna were easily beaten by the bird duo. I had now won the gym battle.

After teaching Envy cut and going into idex forest, I found a level 8 pineco with defense so high that my level 18 Greeds peck only brought his health down to yellow. I caught it and made him nicknamed "substitute 1/3".

When I left Idex forest I put my first sub, pineco in the daycare. I then went into goldenrod city and fixed gluttonys name. He was very grateful.

I went back to the daycare route and trained Envy for a while, when suddenly...

Congratulations to Envy. The first member of my team to evolve. Still I am not sure my pokemon are powerful enough to battle Whitney. Should I evolve pineco and use him in the battle? Will gluttonys attacks be powerful enough to take down miltank?

Also; if you want pictures of the fossils for proof I found them, feel free to pm me.
AntiChrist (2014-06-20 16:50:45)
If you're wondering why my pokemon aren't leveling up very fast, it's due to lack of trainers and strong wild pokemon to train with.
