Hey,my girlfriend wants me to buy a 2DS or a 3DS! The 2DS is 80 bucks at target. Im really thinking about getting it. She wants me to buy one so we can play pokemon together and mario and voice chat on pokemon.. Is the 2DS any good before I go and buy a game sytem that im not gonna like? And what are some decent games for it?Again Im a SONY fan,I didnt like the Wii,Dsi or 3ds. Also whats in the 2DS box? The 3DS comes with SD sticks and other stuff does the 2DS come with the same stuff?

The 2DS is a good option, but so is the 3DS. If you're okay with a slab and no 3D capability, get the 2DS.

If you get a 2DS, I'll recommend you these gems.
First Party:
Fire Emblem: Awakening
The Legend of Zelda: A Link between Worlds
Super Mario 3D World
Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Pokemon X/Y
Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon
Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D
Star Fox 64 3D
Mario Golf: World Tour
Kirby: Triple Deluxe

Static is best villager.

SM3DL has a lot of 3D puzzles so it'd be kind of difficult to solve those without 3D. A 2DS is bulky and it wouldn't be that easy to carry around (might as well get rid of Streetpass then). If you put it in your pocket and sit down you may break the screen. The 2DS comes with the same things. I personally don't like the 2DS.. It's big and bulky (for a DS) and it's hard to carry around. Both of my little brother have one. Plus, you'd be missing out on the 3D feauture.

Yes,I know thwy are the same thing. The 2ds just doesnt have 3D... Well,Im not paying 150 for a consle Im not gonna like

There are absolutely no hardware differences between the 2DS and the 3DS, other than a redesign and the absence of the 3D depth slider, so getting a 2DS is pointless, in my opinion.

I recommend getting a 3DS XL. Huge screens, (almost par with Vita screen) very comfortable for big handed users, and better battery life.

And already judging a console that you've never seen before? Especially because it's Nintendo? You're one huge fanboy.

Graphics isn't everything. The 3DS may not be HD, but is has kick-ass games.

Mario Kart is great.

Amazing kart customization options, and few characters.

I haven't played Mario Party yet, so I'm not sure about that.
