What's idiotic to you can be perfectly right to anybody else, and so on. For instance, I don't think Dimentio would be a good addition. I like Dimentio, and I'm not going to go so far as call it an 'idiotic' choice, but I don't see him as a logical addition.
Myself, I want Mewtwo to return. In my eyes, he's a perfectly reasonable addition to the roster, but too many people, for whatever reason, didn't like him enough.
Ryu Hayabusa, from Dead Or Alive/Ninja Gaiden, could easily enter the fray, having an array of attacks like the Dragon Sword, stars, martial arts/combatives moves, and of course, the Torn-Sky Blast. But people think that is an idiotic suggestion cos he's not a Nintendo character

Dimentio:
Goes "Aha~" and snaps his fingers, when making attacks.
Powers:
Dimented Deed, where he'll shoot small, purple and yellow power shots.
Special Attack: Boom box. He will "fly" towards the screen, making a snap. The player selects prt of the screen, which will be covered in green. In five seconds, the jester will make a 'Ciao!' Sound, and snap his fingers, causing explosions almost everywhere.
