For those of you who haven't heard, Bob Hoskins passed away recently. Among other things, he played Mario in the Super Mario Bros movie, a big part of my childhood, as well as many other gamers. Dennis Hopper, who played King Koopa, passed on in 2010. Whether or not you liked the film, it is known as the first videogame-to-movie adaptation, being a huge milestone in both cinema, and video gaming history.

RIP Bob Hoskins.
