I KO'd a shiny Ponyta on my first encounter. I missed the shiny sparkles and thought that it was the male design.

Shiny Absol on Pokemon Emerald. Too bad it was on an emulator, and I've lost the ROM, so I don't really count it. Though I did trade one of my friends for a shiny Buizel, which is now a Floatzel.

Shiny Golbat, Victory Road, Sapphire Version. I was lost and had no more pokeballs, o ne pokemon left at low hp and level. I ran, learned about shiny pokemon not much longer later.
