First of all, this isn't a fanboy thread and list stupid reasons. This is just an interesting thing I found online. Now that I got that cleared, let's get started.

I found this website that list 100 reasons why not to get the PS4 and/or Xbox One right as of right now. But I'm just gonna list some reasons that seems reasonable because there are some stupid reasons, like why PC is better.

1. A ton of cross-gen games
Admit, it. There is a ton of cross-gen games. New games is being developed for PS4 and One, but it's also developed for PS3 and 360, so getting a next gen console is pointless.

2. There still some games made exclusively for PS3/360
Yes, like The Last of Us, and maybe GTA V. And you know PS4 and One doesn't have backward compatibility, so you'll need (or still need, if you already have a PS4/One) the last gen consoles to play those games.

PS4 Downside:
The PS4 ONLY accepts HDMI ports. If you still have an old fat TV, you'll not be able to use your PS4 at all.

Xbox One useless features:
The One is great for multitasking, I do admit that, but do we really need it? Just by thinking about it, it is useless.

3. Not that many good games
I may be wrong, but there aren't that many good games. Most of PS4/One launch games were also available on PS3/360. There are PS4/One exclusives, but there aren't that many games.

Misc reason:
PS Vita is being recently advertised as a tool for remote play rather than a handheld device.

4. Most online features aren't available right now.

Another PS4 downside:
Let me ask this question first: Do you like Dual Shock 4 better than Dual Shock 3? If you do, great! You can use Dual Shock 4 on your PS3! So why getting a PS4? (sarcasm)
FYI: Dual Shock 4 can be purchased separately.

Another Xbox One useless feature:
Admit it, the One controller looks IDENTICAL to the 360 controller, unlike Dual Shock 4, it offers completely different experience. The One's controller is still identical, just the only difference is the D-Pad. (The + pad)

5. Most PS4/One games can't handle 1080p graphics yet, unlike Wii U, it can already handle it.

Yet, another PS4 downside:
Sony has recently releasing cross buy games between Vita and PS3, but what about PS4?
PS4:

Xbox One downside:
Enjoying headsets? Good for you, if it's a 3rd party headsets, it cannot be used on One.

6. Couple of ports
Just like the Wii U, PS4 and One will be getting a few ports from old PS3/360 games, which is already available for that system.

Another PS4 Downside
PS4 in game memory storage can hold up to 500GB, but 92GB is used for system settings, unlike PS3, if it's 500GB, you DO get 500GB.

Another Misc reason:
''In terms of quality exclusives in the next year, the Nintendo 3DS currently has a larger line-up.''

7. Play games while waiting for another game to download!? Amazing!... but it can lag games, a ton.

Yet, another One downside:
One Networks crashes a lot, and still.

Another One downside:
''Cloud computing on Xbox One is still somewhat dubious''

Yet, another misc reason:
PS Vita cross play cuts frame rate to 30fps, according to Resogun dev.

Another misc reason:
''Along with a better line-up, the 3DS will have more big name games in the coming months''

8. For all the hype surrounding next gen games, it will actually take a while to utilize their full power.

Another PS4 downside:
PS Move is still useless. I guess we can all agree.

Another One downside:
You can have the choice to turn off the Kinnect!... But you can't decide to buy it, or not.

Another One downside:
Most One launch apps attracts casual people, like having a TV app, music app, etc.

Another One downside:
You can't use your Xbox Live Gold account just yet.

Another One downside:
''Mugging season is in session''

9. Most next gen exclusives, like Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy doesn't even have a release date yet, so you kind of have to wait for a long time.

10. Critics believe that the most anticipated games on PS4/One will appear on 2015.

11. Both consoles are too expensive right now.

12. ''The PS4 will stream PS3 games next year and not at launch and this won't be for all titles at first. Xbox One backward compatibility via cloud is still being researched.''

And that's it!

The website I said about list 100 reasons, but I combined the reasons that had similar features, and took out the ''WHY PC IZ BEDER'' reasons.

Again, this isn't a fanboy war, nor I'm not saying why both consoles suck. It's just a list why not to get next gen consoles (Including the Wii U) right now.

Despite all of the reasons mentioned, I still plan on getting a PS4. Nothing has convinced me not to get a PS4... Yet.

1080p part only applies to the Xbox One.

As for the rest, you don't say? Console launches are always half-assed, thrown together affairs, the only reason these systems have so much hype is because the 360/PS3 were the longest console gen in history.

I personally, will only start longing for a PS4 once inFAMOUS: Second Son comes out. That game is worth buying a system for.

Interesting. The only reason I'd buy Xbox 1 or PS4 is to play Star Wars Battlefront 3. Otherwise, I'm gettin' a Wii U.
