Microsoft is a multi-billion dollar franchise, they're making so much money off of their current products that even a total failure of the Xbox One wouldn't put a dent in their profits. Plus, though video games are a major industry for them, they're still making billions of dollars off of computers.

If you don't believe me, look here.
Microsoft's net profit in the second quarter of 2013 alone was ~$4,965,000,000 USD. Do you really see a company raking in that kind of money failing in any way?
