imawsome12 (2013-08-08 06:54:39)You were kind of off on history. yankee nurses didnt treat confederates, and B-52's didnt exist until viatnam/cold war era. you it was B-14's and B-25's used in WWII. The were F-52's though. (realized the B in B-14 means bomber and the F in F-52 means fighter?)

Sweet Jesus. Why a draft! I thought. This war that America was pulled into because the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. My cousin Vinny died on the Oklahoma. Now, I'm being drafted into the army. Their calling this war a worldwide war. Plenty of attacks by the Nazis have destroyed England. My brother Timothy was pulled into the Air Force and is stationed in England. Made some successful bombings. He pilots a B-52 bomber. My Grand daddy was a Sergeant in the confederate army. My grand mother was a nurse too for the Yankees. That's how they met. She helped him even though he was the enemy. And now, here I am. We are planning an invasion on Normandy. Called operation overlord. D-day. This was going to be difficult. An invasion?
