The 3D for me makes the game really immersive, and when I turn it off, it's just...meh.

Well....yeah. That's a reason why a lot of people don't get it. They think 3D is all what it does. Like my poor cousin(not the sony one), he is going to get stuck with a DSlite instead of a 3DS because his Mom thinks it's just a "3D DS." When I tried to explain that it wasn't that, and encouraged him to tell her that, I was indirectly told to shut up. Such a shame, he loves the 3DS-Video recording, the eshop, MK7 and OoT3D. Pfft. Come to think of it, everyone in my family calls it a "3D DS."
