I have a method of getting over 100,000 bells in 40 minutes. In order to do this, you must have Tortimer's Island unlocked. All you have to do is go butterfly catching on the beach there. The butterflies, Agrias, and Birdwing are worth 3000-5000 bells for just 1! They are found in the morning to afternoon. They are really common around these times, so getting rich will not be too hard. I hope this helped.
