It's not free anymore, and it only shows Unova pokemon and their stats. If you ever do get a 3DS, get Pokedex 3D Pro, the new version. It has every pokemon before this year's upcoming Pokemon X and Y, and it is great for any Pokemon fanatic. It is full of improvements from the first one, but is still not really a game. It also prices in for $14, so that might turn you off.
