Chapter 1: Kiru and Terris
Kiru, you see, was an ill-mannered child. A devious one, too. One morning, he wants to wrap his house with used toilet paper, the next, light his lamp on fire. I lied about Kiru being regular. He was beyond regular. He currently lives with his stepmother and his real father. Maybe he had caught this manner from his mother, I don't know. But then, there was something different about Kiru than everybody else, his eyes were different. One red and the other green. His stepmother had thought he was bewitched, but that theory wasn't correct. Witchcraft was in the olden times. His father had never spoken anything about the eyes. He had to where an eye patch to keep children from saying he was different. He only had one friend- his best friend-, Terris. Terris and Kiru were alike you see, the only difference were the eyes.
The very morning Kiru woke up, exactly 7:44, on a Wednesday, thinking what devilish thing to do, he felt strange. He felt like something was going to happen. Something or someone is coming after or watching him. Kiru has this stalker, Kiru has seen him so many times behind him while walking home from school. Thinking the man was a pedophile, Kiru always runs home. This time the man has gone too far, he sees the same very, unmistakable man at the edge of Kiru's window. The man's eyes burned into his. Staring contest, yes, for fun, no. The man then makes a grab for Kiru, that's when Kiru blacks out.
