This is more of a rant than anything, but it belongs here.



HEY YOU!
Yeah! You! Your an author, right? (if not, then get outta here) Well, I'm assuming you just wrote an amazing story that you believe everybody is gonna like!

WRONG!

Not everyone is gonna like it. There's always gonna be a critic, k? And, here's a fun fact:

Critics are good for you!

They can help you get better at writing! Grammer! And lots of other skills you need to be an author. So don't complain! There's a difference between giving your opinion, and critique-ing something.

HEY YOU!

Yeah! I'm talking to You, bub!
Your a reader, right? (If not, get your behind outta my topic!) Well, have I got something for you!

Don't be harsh when you rate someone. Say it, umm.. Seriously. Not mean or nice. Just be plain serious.

No opinions if you are actually rating something. The way it works, is you rate the grammer 'n stuff first, THEN you give your opinion and mark it or something.
Sometimes critics come off as mean, [like Scott Calvin] But really, they're trying to help. Be gentle in the way you say something, like instead of: "THAT FREAKIN' STUNK!" Say: "You could use a bit more story/grammer/punctuation/spelling/etc." See the difference? Much better, isn't it.

Anyhoo, I'm done. You better like this! (or not, I guess)
