I decided it's finally TIME to get all the features back from chat v2. As you may remember, chat v3 was written to be lightweight. It worked well, but as you may also know, it wasn't enough to stop the 503s for long.

Now we got our awesome server, we can be much more relaxed about our consumption. But of course, inefficient code should not be reinstated after being replaced. But you might agree a lot of things are missing, probably more than I even remember.

So now I'm offering to do the ports to get us back. In Chat v3 I have arbritary JavaScript execution on-the-go available, so features on the client can be made without painful multiversion editing.

You all say you prefer chat v2, but we ALL do. But now we have a lighter diet, it's time we brought back everything - in lighter style.


Put your features down below and I'll re-add them in the order you post them. Just because.

I didn't take anyone's request into consideration, I thought of doing this myself . but you're welcome too

it was always my intention to add this stuff back. That's specifically why I added Arbitrary JavaScript execution available in the client.
