Hi there. For the past few days I've been working a lot on Project Triniate, the MMORPG for the 3DS Browser, causing me to release two new demo's in just a few days (demo 5 and demo 6). Demo 6 won't be replaced by a new demo for a while, so I'm going through the updates I've done since demo 4 here.

Shop completely redesigned
The old shop has been removed and a new shop has been programmed. Now the shop is a room like all others with two shopkeepers. You can talk to one to buy items, and talk to one to sell items. The current shop looks much nicer than the old one, is more implemented into the game, and is easier for me to adjust. This shop also has a built-in protection, so that you can't access the shop without actually being in the shop's building.

Bank added
Redesigning the shop was quite a task, but so was adding a bank. Now Triniate has a bank to store items and money. Unlike your inventory, items are stacked automatically in the bank. Unused tools stack too, but used tools don't, unless they're used just as much. The bank is also browsable by using the D-Pad and the A button. Oh, the bank also has unlimited space.

Inventory redesigned
The inventory has been redesigned, because I thought the old one looked a little bit messy. The current inventory looks much nicer, and is browsable by using the D-pad and A button.

Durability bar added
Before demo 6, you couldn't know exactly when your tool was going to break. This was also a bit tricky with trading, because you didn't know if you would get a tool that was brand-new or almost broken. That's why I added a durability bar to the items, a bit like in Minecraft. Now you can tell easily in what condition your tools are by taking a look at the durability bar. If no durability bar is displayed under a tool, that means it hasn't been used yet.

You cannot sell used tools at the shop.

NPC system updated
The NPC system got an update. NPC's used to mimic the sprite of the player who talked to them, but now, NPC's have their own sprites.

On top of that, some new options are now integrated in the NPC's, like opening the shop, bank, or redirecting the player to another URL.

Items, objects and enemies
- The placeholder trees have been replaced with these:

- Diamond has been added:

- The placeholder workbench has been replaced with this one:

- New enemy has been added (along with an update to the enemies system):

- The x has been replaced with

Some glitches have been fixed
Like always

So that's the progress I made during the past few days. Right now, I think that the engine is about 70% finished. That means I might start making the actual maps and characters soon! (yay )

What can you do to help Project Triniate progress faster?

It would really help if you submitted artwork to the Triniate spriter ([link=http://pc.3dsplaza.com//shop]Link to Triniate spriter in the 3DSPlaza shop[/link]).

The sprites I need most right now are:
- Sprites for NPC's (character sprites)
- Monsters
- Tiles

Thank you for reading, enjoy the updates!

I made a zombie sprite a while ago (My first and last sprite ). It can be a monster. The link is in my signature.
I play Manic Digger, a free clone of Minecraft.
I have a Server too: Nisc3d's Survivaltown.
It's the perfect alternate of Minecraft, if you can't buy it or whatever.
Check it out: http://manicdigger.sourceforge.net/

Please no hating!

I made a slime monster, I think you might like it. If you want any changes done, just say, such as a death animation of some sorts.

Fixed your grammar errors in the post. ;-) Don't mind me.

The first update I've been with you through, was a good time. ;-)

I've read about 'Project Triniate', can you get access without donating? By-the-way, I'm currently trying to figure out how to use the sprite maker, I read the manual...
