I'm quite concerned about this site's future. With SomeLuigi retiring, lack of Mods, Robdeprop's less online activity and all those irritating errors. (Seriously, I had to write this whole thread on paper because I got an error, now I'm rewriting it )

Think of it this way: In say, 3 months time, what will this place be? A frustrating place with all the problems I have listed above?

This is what worries me, and you can help by just following the rules. Otherwise you'll just be running loose around this site with no mods helping (I'm not saying all mods but some...) And with this happening, it just adds another thing to that list: Rule breakers, everywhere. C'mon guys, have you seen the amount of Online daters?! Almost every profile I've seen has this:

Relationship Status:
Single: [ ]
Taken: [X] By *UsernameHere* *Lovey dovey poem that they've copied and pasted from the first site they see after typing in Love poems in Google.*

I share your concerns, but you see however I try to stop these attacks all I get is hate. I quit because there are seriously SOME people I want to see begging for me to come back because of these issues I get hated on for trying to fix.

People don't understand what it's like being a backend programmer, and it is made harder by the fact some of the code is in Dutch (although I don't blame Rob at all, he's more than welcome to use his native language, Google Translate helps me sometimes), I don't know where some relevant code is, meaning I need some time to track down references.

Simply put, it's not easy to change code that isn't in a language you understand, it's not easy to code when you don't have a map in your mind about where code you might need to edit is, it's not easy to ensure maximum glitch-freeness, it's not easy to make something that doesn't hog all the server's resources, it's not easy to make something that can be easily migrated to a different web server should the owner wish to move.

All my projects are carefully made to be modular, which can help a lot but sometimes slows down progress, meaning I get presque-no acknowledgement for my efforts.

That being said, loads of users are cool and deserve better. I wish I could skip out my time making spam/alt/swear proof code and make something that is cool and the majority of the users deserve.

I'm not sure if Rob feels this way, but you should just remember what I just said, and be reasonable towards him, because he does this for free, and really even he pays to keep the site online. I would just remember that, because if Rob feels that his community on 3DSPlaza are just hating on him, I can tell you right now he has full rights to stop paying for the site, and then it'd be non-existant.

If you hate Robdeprop, just get off the site already I mean it's not difficult.
