Hey guys! It's Ron1212 with 3DS Plaza's first official Wii U review!

Ah. Nintendo's new console has finally released. It's been almost 2 years since it was first announced. With more than 20 launch titles, it looks like Wii U might actually be what we were hoping for. And what better way is there to experience this new innovative gameplay for the first time than by playing Nintendo Land?

It's the game most Wii U owners will have thanks to the pack-in Deluxe system set. But what if you picked up basic, and are looking for a new game for your new home console? Even though you'll be losing $10 and more features by not getting the deluxe edition, Nintendo Land is what you'll want to get.

OVERVIEW
The game boasts 12 creative and fun attractions, each utilizing the new Wii U gamepad in different ways. The attractions span many different Nintendo games, from Zelda to Mario, to even classics like Balloon Trip. The nice thing is that this is a multiplayer game-half of these attractions you can play with a friend. Some of them you can still play on your own, but that isn't as much fun as playing with other people.

GRAPHICS
Before we get to the gameplay, I want to talk about the graphics. This game is probably the first Nintendo game you'll see in HD. It's clear and done right, and sometimes the view's breathtaking. The gamepad's screen isn't HD, but it's still beautiful.

GAMEPLAY
You start off the game in a plaza. From that plaza, you'll have 12 accesses to the attractions. As said before, the game lets you experience challenges with the gamepad. In Takamaru's Ninja Castle, you have to swipe the ninja star on your gamepad so it reaches the TV, and takes out the enemy ninja. There are many levels, and in each you have to aim for many ninjas and use special power-ups.

As you can see in the picture above, this is the Zelda attraction-The Legend of Zelda: Battle Quest. One player utilizes the gamepad, and fights with a bow and arrow, while up to three other players use Wii remotes as swords. All four players fight there way through 8 levels, obtaining a tri-force fragment thorough each level. The same type of thing is seen with Metroid Blast. One player flys with on a ship, other players are on the ground, both fighting enemies as a team. It's a simple concept at first, but when you play enough of it, it's a...blast.

Luigi's Ghost Mansion is one of three attractions that is a chasing game. One player uses the gamepad to chase the other players with Wii remotes, or vise-versa. As with all multiplayer attractions, the player on the gamepad always has a different view point, or role. It's an idea that makes Nintendo Land a great game, and an idea that's set course for any future multiplayer games for the Wii U.

MUSIC
Hearing many of Nintendo's classic sounds and tunes have never been more rewarding. Nintendo Land holds a ton of music, each note revamped from its original form. If you're a true Nintendo fan, the game's music will be heartfelt for you.

CONCLUSION
Nintendo Land is a great and fun experience. It's truly a must for any Wii U owners. However, might it seem flawless, it isn't. I think about the many attractions Nintendo Land could have had. I mean come on Nintendo...Balloon Trip, Octopus Dance, and Yoshi over successful franchises such as Pokemon, Starfox, and even Kirby? The game would have been much better with these classics, but never less, it's still a great game that teaches you the art of the Wii U gamepad.

I admit this one was short. My future reviews will definitely have a lot more effort put into them.
