Okay, so I've been thinking about an idea for a couple days now and I wanted to share it.

(yes, before you even know basic information about the game )

It's about the Laundrette! OK, maybe not so...

It's about Furnaces.

In the game, one of the tasks you need to do is mine. (specifics being worked on for that still..)

But to get lovely ingots extracted from the ore, it has to be smelted...

So, I came up with an idea for Furnaces!

There'd be 3 tabs on it's interface..

"MAIN", "FUEL" and "INFO"


The main tab -

- You can see your inventory from this tab.
You can place items into the 9 slots of input from your inventory. Items placed here will be smelted.

- Output. After a cycle, stuff goes into the output. You can take that from here, into your inventory.


--- Fuel Tab:

Here, you can put coal into the furnace, see the fuel and heat level, and control everburning mode:

Everburning Mode: If you turn this on, the furnace will burn coal slowly even when it is not in use. But, the heat is kept up, and when you come to use the furnace, you don't need to wait for it to heat up. There are 3 settings on it:

OFF = Furnace Burns Fuel only as required

LOW = Furnace Burns Small amount of fuel to keep itself 70% Heated Up, meaning you only need to wait 3 minutes for the initial heating stage.

HIGH = Furnace Burns A bit more coal than LOW does to keep itself at 100% heat, meaning you have to wait 0 minutes for the initial heating stage.

! In the Furnace House (Laundrette), you cannot use Everburning Mode !

And then, "INFO"

- Owner: The Owner of the Furnace
( "SomeLuigi" or "Laundrette" )

- Pay Per Cycle: The Number of Coins you have to pay to burn 1 fuel cycle
( Laundrette is probably ~20 )

- Collection Time: How long you have to collect the output before the owner of this furnace takes it for himself. (In the Laundrette, 2 hours. You'll have to pay to get your product back, so don't forget about it)

- Collection Discount: How much cash you get back for collecting early. (discount times every 30 minutes early)
( Laundrette: 3, so 12 coins could be got back for early collection )



To buy your own Furnaces it is expensive, so that's why you have to use the Laundrette in early stages of the game. Or use a friend's furnace ;-).

It's very different to the Minecraft furnace, 9x input, everburning, paid cycles, collection timeout.

There'll also be other kinds of furnaces
