I'm doing a quick update on how Project Triniate is coming along.

I've made a video of the current progress:


Today, I've officially put online the latest version of project Triniate for the people who donated. This new version is quite a big update compared to the older version. Here's a list of the major changes:

- Character costumizing
Probably the biggest update is that you are now able to costumize your character. You can choose a head, a body and a pair of legs, and your character will be created.

- Quests
I wrote a big part of the quests engine, and I put online two demo quests. Talk to the NPC's to do them.

- Choppable trees
I've added a new system that enables choppable trees. You can now buy two types of axes from the shop, a wooden axe and a stone axe. With the wooden axe you are only able to chop oak trees, with the stone axe you can chop both oak trees and spruce trees. You have to chop a tree three times to break it. Also, when you chop down a tree, the tree will either spawn wood (most likely) or an apple.

- Axes
Like mentioned in the choppable trees paragraph, you can now buy axes from the shop. When you use them for some time they can break. Wooden axes break earlier than stone axes.

- Hotkey
You can now select one item from your inventory to make a hotkey. The hotkey is on the bottom right of your screen. When you press it, that item is immediately used, so you won't have to open up your inventory at all for that item. This comes in handy with axes, so you won't have to enter your inventory three times to break just one tree.
