Bionic Opinions is a new series that may or may not spread. But I'll give it a try...
New Super Mario Bros 2 is a rushed game that doesn't out rank the Mario titles it copies, sad. The game's first level introduces the unoriginality that lies within the not-so-steep shell. The game itself didn't have as much potential as the first game in the series. Infact, the first game is prior to the sequel! Anyways, the first mini castle copies Super Mario World's sub-boss. But that doesn't regard much, well, a little.
Mario, you'll never guess to hit those question blocks!
The first boss is one of the kooplings, hinting to the Wii a bit? Either way you probably have 1,000 lives and a raccoon by now, so it's probably easier. After you defeat that you're in world 2. The exact same thing except for the layout and what not. There's no exciting final boss, so don't hold your breathe. The final boss has 2 forms, both aren't menacing, the game is menacing though! The bosses first form is Bowser with mallets, not hammers, mallets. Then you're faced with mega bowser, but wait. Giant hands don't hurt you, what the hell? Bowser forces you to jump on floating platforms while he crushes them with his ghost-like hands. You're then given a small break with bowser squirting fire at you, that's it. Well, once done 3 more times anyway. Than a giant button appears, was bowser that butthurt to add a big and obvious button that breaks the background platforms he is standing on?
NO! Don't press that big obvious button! I have kids!!!
The ending is nothing special, just interactive credits of Mario holding Peach. You need 90 star coins to enter Star World, buying too much mushroom houses crushes that chance of Star World, shame, huh? There are two more worlds, Mushroom world and Flower World, I'd rather eat flowers and poisonous mushrooms than play these worlds.
