Jeran, just keep grinding for weapons until you get one that has Dash charge shot+4 and favors range(No melee stars, it'll make getting 6 range stars hard) then go to fusing, and select "by category" Keep fusing the mod over until the range stars are high, and hope that the staff you want will take both the mod and high stars.

@lovemuffin-I'm used to the slowness, one thing I notice is the speed often makes claw users careless, they run right into my shots.
