Well, friends, it had a good run, 24 years in fact, but Nintendo Power's last issue is due this December. Nintendo has decided to recind its agreement with Future US, who has managed the magazine since Nintendo gave away the rights in 2007. Nintendo has no plans to take over publication itself once more, nor does it have plans to work with Future on any online-based agreements. If anything good comes out of this, it's that the first few issues will be worth a lot more now. You can be assured that any subscriptions that do not expire this December will be refunded.

My GameInformer subscription ended, I was JUST thinking about signing up for Nintendo's offical magazine until this happened.
