It's been over 3000 years since the Space Crusade activated the universal beacon to allow magic to be done again. Anything could be done with the right spell. It was until it was destroyed that nobody even remembered it was there. Then they made a new one with the remaining mana to make a stronger, more powerful beacon.
It couldn't be controlled.

From then on anything that was born was given a special ability. Just one...

Until my generation was born...
