People who try to deny WW being empty are silly. My brother is adamant that the Great Sea is a good overworld. Even the islands are usually barren if you can even get on them.

Termina Field is a 'good' overworld. Skyrim is best overworld ever. Hyrule Field, from Ocarina Of Time and Twilight Princess, are OK overworlds (they get the job done, even if little more). The 'Great Sea' is a load of bollocks. Hyrule Warriors didn't even have a connecting overworld, and its world felt much more interesting and expansive than WWs.

It doesn't deserve the love it gets. It was a pretty bad game (at best) trying to pass itself off as a Zelda title. I hate how Nintendo has been shoving Toon Link down our throats by making two sequels, replacing Young Link with him in Smash Bros (twice, so far), and ruining the continuity of their best Zelda game since Majoras Mask by including him in Hyrule Warriors Legends (which takes place in a completely different part of the timeline).
