carlos11 (2015-03-17 13:16:51)Oh snap. I hope it's the HDS, so everyone that bought a N3DS can suck it.
I hate how Nintendo is feeding the mobile gaming demon. They of all people should know that it's an evil they shouldn't look to capitalize in.

Nin10dude789 (2015-03-17 13:41:02)They're not focusing on mobile devices entirely. Instead, they'll use it as advertisements for their consoles. So if a Mario game releases on iOS, the consumer will want more of the game. And the only way to get more Mario is to buy a Nintendo hardware.

carlos11 (2015-03-17 14:21:32)I sure hope so. I don't want people to get good nintendo games like full pokemon games on their phones.

Nin10dude789 (2015-03-17 14:54:37)@Carlos
Pretty much we're getting those mini games found on Super Mario 64 DS and New Super Mario Bros. And maybe some WarioWare games.

Bean (2015-03-17 15:41:08)Sony have been working on the PS4 since 2008. It was obvious Nintendo are currently developing a new console.

BirdJesus (2015-03-17 20:37:28)This is great. I can't wait to play Majora's Mask on Steam.

carlos11 (2015-03-18 03:02:45)I would do it too, but I'm not link mud.
Anyway, I want something even better than the N3DS. It may be an improvement over the regular 3DS, but at the end of the day it's still relatively underpowered.

ShadowxWolve (2015-03-18 17:27:07)Honestly, I want a better internet app on the 3DS rather than them going mobile. It's barely usable, and basically not-functioning except for the sites that have very little HTML, no MP3/MP4, FLV, or any other type of video formats, and very small (or no) GIF files. Hell, even some large pictures wont show up on the internet version of the 3ds. If it can connect to the internet, and play games without lag; it should be able to browse the internet.
Either way, though, I hope mobile isn't as big of a fail as the 3DS Internet was/is. ._.

An unexpected announcement today that Nintendo has announced that they have partnered with mobile company DeNA (pronounced as DNA) as they will help Nintendo develop mobile games and apps on smart devices.
That's right, we'll be seeing Nintendo IPs on Smartphones and tablets very soon. DeNA has worked with Disney before and it was a quite success. But with partnership with Nintendo, will it be a bigger success? Here's what they announced:
-Nintendo will port some games to mobile, so don't expect new games or IPs coming to mobile.
-Iwata revealed some info about their loyalty membership that'll be the successor of Club Nintendo: the new service will be multi-plat, so it won't be exclusive to just Nintendo devices, but will also be linked to your smatphone with the mobile Nintendo games they're going to release. So the service will be available to use on 3DS, Wii U, PC, phones, tablets, and future Nintendo devices.
-Speaking about future Nintendo hardware, they tease their new hardware code named "NX" What could it be?
So that's about it. What do you expect with this partnership? Will it be a success?
