Do we even NEED a user directory? Especially due to what Shinestar pointed out.



That's what confuses me. Eventually, you will reach the text character limit in the forum post after being flooded with all of these PMs and entering these new names and categories. It's like asking the mail man to stuff tens of thousands of envelopes into a mailbox just so you can open it and get paper flying out at you like a machine gun.

Not bashing on this thread or anything, just stating my opinion.

Maybe... But i wanted to keep the general categories. Artists, roleplayers, etc. I for one found itndifficult and time-consuming on other sites to search for somebody to roleplay with. Or draw me a picture. What if we kept the useful categories and gaming categories in there?

I agree with Flux, and ive changed my topic accordingly. But as far as shinestar goes, It is much more convinent to use a directory, rather than search throughout the forums to find somebody. Or post a forum thread and wait for somebody to reply, and then be offline by the time you read it.

Its a matter of convenience and this thread is not pointless. In my eyes it also helps the website. Reducing the amount forum threads thus decreasing bandwidth usage. Like i said, its conveient. And by closing this thread you would be closing a thread due to your own opinion.
