No, that's incorrect. Look at the numbers in my previous post. Those are significant numbers.

Smash4: 5/51=.0980
.1538/.0980=1.5694

Before you make a claim as ridiculous as that, do note that the Brawl proportion of Pokemon characters is over 1.5 times greater than that of Smash4. One more Pokemon character is not farfetched. If Nintendo wants to profit from this DLC thing, they know just where to turn to. Pokemon.


Now if we count DLC in Smash 4, it looks like this:

Brawl- 6/39=.1538
Smash4- 6/53=.1132
.1538/.1132=1.3587

The Brawl proportion is still approximately 1.4 times bigger than the proportion of Smash4. The numbers don't lie, and I believe these are the most unfavorable numbers to prove my point, since I am counting mewtwo in Smash4 but I'm not counting him in Brawl. The outcome is still pretty much the same.

Psst. I'll let you in on a little secret. I counted Mewtwo in Smash4 but not in Brawl.

As I've said before, I'm not asking for the Brawl proportion, which is close to 1/6, to be matched. I'm just asking for one more Pokemon newcomer, which we deserve. I mean, look at the proportions from all the other games. Here, I'll show 'em to ya.

Smash64: 2/12=.1667
Melee:4/26=.1538
Brawl:6/39=.1538
Smash4:5/51=.0980

There you go. Brawl and Melee's proportion of Pokemon characters is the exact same. That being said, every smash game before Smash4 had a proportion of Pokemon characters close to 1 in 6. I don't think it's necessary to have 9 Pokemon characters in Smash4, in which case the proportion of Pokemon characters would go up to .1607 (which would more or less match Smash64, Melee, and Brawl), but 7 characters is a must. We're bound to get at least 3 DLC characters. One of them should be Sceptile, for the reasons I've already given.

F-Zero is a loved franchise and it is the only franchise represented in the first game that has not recieved a second character. If they're not going to make a new F-Zero game they could atleast give it more love in Smash Bros.

Zelda is one of the main three Nintendo franchises. Mario was INTENDED to have 6 (Dr Mario was added very late in development and was not planned) and Pokemon has 6, so why not add a 6th Zelda character? Ganon, Impa or Groose would be perfect for the role.

F-Zero is retro and iconic. Since it is irrelevant, it doesn't need another rep.

You are right about Zelda, though. It was also treated badly. Perhaps even as badly as Pokemon. I already mentioned how Smash4 cut two mons but only added one newcomer. Zelda got zero newcomers, but didn't get anyone cut either.Meanwhile, Mario didn't have anyone cut and also got two newcomers. So, Pokemon and Zelda are pretty much on the same boat. They both deserve one newcomer. That's fair, given the popularity of each of the franchises I mentioned.
Pokemon has Sceptile as its most likely candidate, but idk about Zelda. If your character is as relevant as Sceptile, or significant to the game it comes from, then it should make it in, because Zelda priority.
