Matt slowly makes his way up the hill next to his hut that he wandered upon, as he hikes, he truely hopes he finds signs of life. He feels that he may be alone. He notices a nearby hunter's sniper rifle, along with two boxes of ammunition. On his way to pick it up, he grabs a strong, sturdy stick to which he could defend himself if the mutant creatures, which he calls "The After Affect" due to how they came to be. As he neared, a After Affect came running out, so he lashes out with the stick. The hit connects, rignt at the chest area, or where it would've been if it hadn't been for the fact that it looked like it was starving, but the strike only made it more mad, so he strikes right above the sholders, below the jaw, and breaks the neck so the After Affect can no longer move. He hurries over, picks up the rifle, and puts the After Affect out of it's misery.

Oh yes, matt is wearing a Camoflauge pants. shirt, and jacket, which he brought from america, combat boots, about 2" long hair, redish, blondish, brown. hight is about 6' 5", 6' 6". Weight is average, 189.

As Matt continuously climbs, he hears the gun shot ring out, as he looks in that direction, he makes a note of it. He pulls out one of the scavenged apples, and slowly eats it, to prevent to much sound. He continues to climb, and wonders if he will ever get back. He pulls out his smartphone, not suprised there is no battery life. He is still hoping he can find a working generator.

Aranea plopped down on an old generator in the dirt of the wasteland, gritting her teeth and taking a swig of water from a battered metal bottle. She tugged her backpack off of her shoulders to rummage through the contents, shoving whatever she had in hand inside it.

She didn't notice one of the mutated beasts behind her until she stood up, letting out an involuntary shriek and brandishing her machete.
