^ I thought "Dragon Ship" was some type of weapon. Lol.

Amyways, I'm having a really hard time repeling it. He demolishes my ship in showdown mode.

my first monster was actually tanzia barroth. my first armor was barroth armor too. my first gunner armor was A.Rathalos and my current armor is high rank brachydios.and i usuqlly use spectral demolishers (dual blades).

The Tanzia Mohran is actually the real pain.

My advice for the Moga Mohran:

1. Get the full High Rank Steel Urugaan armor.

2. Forge Bombardier jewels until you have the Artillery Expert skill.

3. Forge the Ice Obliterator hammer (Jade Barroth/ G. Agnaktor materials required). The Dios Tailhammer also works well.

4. When he comes up alongside the Dragon Ship, get on his back and lay one anti dragon bomb at each cracked part of his spinal fin.

5. Hammer away at one fin until he throws you off or you break it.

6. When he faces the boat, jump on his tusks and hammer away at the next cracked spot on his back. (When both cracked spots are open, stand inside one of them and keep hammering)

7. Use the ballistas to break his tusks when you can't get onto his back.

8. When he charges your boat from the front, use the dragonator just before he rams into it.

9. Save the cannon ammo for the final showdown.

Note: When he rears up to slam the ship in a belly flop, use the hunting gong.


-Final Showdown-

Run up to him and beat on one of his legs till' it breaks. (Depending on how close to the ship he is, you may have time to go after the second leg).

2. When he gets 3/4 of the way to the boat, shoot the ballistas at his tusks if you haven't broken them already.

3. When he rears up to do the belly flop, use the hunting gong. When he falls over, run into his mouth and unleash hell in there with your hammer. (Forget the carves)

4. Use the cannons after you break the tusks.

5. When youmrun out of ballista/cannon ammo, attack the unbroken leg (or if you broke it, attack his belly until he dies).

Note: If he decides to belly flop again, before the hunting gong is ready, use the ballista binder. (ONLY USE THE BB IN THIS SITUATION).

Note: Try to let him belly flop the ship once and use the Dragonator then.

I didn't kill the Jhen till after I was 9star. Trust me, I know what I'm doing here, I've killed more than 20 of them. - Shinestar.

Yes. I didn't kill the Jhen until I was 9stars. It isn't a critical quest to complete.

I'm liking light bowgun now. It took me forever to beat Lagiacrus with Lagiacrus bowgun though.
