I used the average of all the scores for the final grade in this review, so that's why it got a 9. If you check WAAAAY back in the Miscellaneous forum, my NES Open Tournament Golf review didn't get a very high rating.
The original Metroid is very confusing without a map with points of interest.
However, if you use the "Justin Bailey" Code, the game actually saves the last area you were in, so you can use the code again and get right back to where you were. Helpful, but doesn't cure the fact that you're so goddamned lost.
