By the way, I'm one of the people who create "god pokemon" an let me tell you one thing. It isn't hard. It just takes a while. It's also very simple if you know how to breed correctly and get egg moves. As for EV training, pokemon X/Y has made it SUPER EASY with super training. Just punch the bags for the stats you want, max out your pokemon (which takes less than twenty minutes) and create your team of gods.

I just faced all the annoying pokemon mentioned above.
I was doing triples in random matchup, and I faced a Multiscale Dragonite, Gardevoir (which Traced my Dragonite's Multiscale), and a Protean Geninja that outsped EVERYTHING AND USED MOTHERTRUCKING MAT BLOCK.
Mat-Block blocked everything which otherwise would have killed Gardevoir and Greninja, and just one Dazzling gleam left all my pokemon with like 5 HP. I was like, WTF?!
I was so pissed off I ragequit. That was hax, and that faggot knows it!

AntiChrist (2014-07-11 00:21:48)He may have did it by using super training to max greninjas speed stats. With enough speed EVs, you'll need more than an item that increases speed alone, even if you are using a weavel.

People play to win an if you refuse to actually put a lot of time and effort into building your competitive team, don't act like it's so unfair that you can't beat people who do.
What I think the problem is is the fact that you only use your favorite pokemon or whatever you think looks cool rather than use strategy. If that's your idea of a team fit for competitive battling, I don't know what to tell you. You just won't ever win. If you really want to get into competitive battling, actually have a strategy. Using your favorite pokemon aren't going to cut it. I'm not a huge fan of tentacruel, but it is perfect when it comes to strategy if you give it enough defense EVs.

Also, if you're sick of "op legendaries", use Rating Battles. It's THAT easy.
Generation six is a great time to get in to competitive, Spencer. It's so easy to do it.
