Lol, Sceptile isn't confirmed, but all the evidence we currently have points towards Sceptile and Jigglypuff being the 2 currently unconfirmed pokemon that should be on the roster the most. (Along with Ness and other oldfags, of course.)

I wish there could be more playable Pokemon characters, for Mewtwo and whatnot, but then they'd have to change the name to Pokemon Smash Bros.

Meganium, Feraligatr, and the weird snake thing from 5th gen are the worst starters. Sceptile is one of the cooliest.

Sceptile is friggin ugly. It has been crappy since the physical/special split and is the worst of the Hoenn trio competitively.

I'm mainly exited for Villager. I'm kinda an Animal Crossing fan. I'm not really exited for Little Mac. Punch Out is just one of those games that do not really appeal to my taste.

All the Hoenn starters are wildly popular.

Carter doesn't even like pokemon, but he knows that the Sceptile evolutionary line is known to be the "cool" pokemon. He has a unique personality in the anime, and that's why people like him.
