pikarceus (2014-06-25 04:33:39)Nintendo will be fine, if anyone goes bankrupt it's Sony. Their gaming division is doing great with the PS4 but the rest of the company is in the gutter. The good news is even if they collapse, the PlayStation brand is still highly likely to survive.
Microsoft is doing well, evidenced by the fact that they were able to moneyhat TitanFall and how all these XB1 games still get DLC first.
ursaminor (2014-06-26 07:34:09)Tbh, I hope both Sony and Microsoft go down the toilet.

Robbie- Bear in mind that, as others have said, hardware sales aren't nearly as important as software sales. Since consoles are sold as a loss, software is where companies make the real money. Of course, if there are more consoles out there, there will be more sales. What you should know about the PS4 and XBOne sales is that Sony got somewhat of a head start and, so far, is doing well, but the Xbone is not lagging far behind and looks promising.
As you mentioned, both systems are currently in a "good game drought". The gaming systems are available to the public, but many feel there is literally nothing worth playing on them. This is where Sony being in trouble comes in. Sony could have the potential to come out on top, but might not have the stamina to pull through and "rake in the dough." Whereas, the rich bastards at Microsoft can do whatever they want with their money.
