MeNobody14 (2013-05-31 02:55:13)He breathed in deep, smelling the fresh, salty scent of the ocean. "Their coming!" Vanessa said excitedly. She leaned over the rail and watched as the boats approached. Jerry frowned. He couldn't see them. He could barely make out the blue sea. He listened to them board the ship, and Vanessa lead him over to them.
"We found 'er, sir." The captain said. "Good." Jerry replied. The woman walked up to him and hugged him. "Hello Jerry!" She said. He returned the hug and sighed. "Hello Angela." He said.
"Your blind?" Angela asked him. She had taken him to his bedroom to "Catch up" on things. "Not completely." He said. She brushed his hair with her hand and frowned worriedly. "How?" She asked. "I don't know.. I-I was shot and then.." He was interrupted by Angela. "Shot? What happened to you?" She asked. "Long story." He said. Her frown deepened. "Are you okay?" She asked. Jerry didn't answer. Unsure of whether to say yes or no. Angela kissed him. "So you really can't see me?" She asked. "Unless your just a blob of light and colors, than no." He said. Angela smiled a bit. "Good." He heard something unzipping, and it wasn't his Jacket. "Angie?" He asked. Then he heard two thunks. "Just taking off my boots."
Vanessa sat stood on the stern, watching the sunset slowly.. Well, Set. It was a brilliant array of blues, purples, pinks, oranges, and reds. Behind her, was the ruined coastline of Atlantis. "Beautiful sunset." A voice behind her spoke. She turned around, and saw Captain Garrett walking toward her.
"Your face has a scar now.." Angela said, tracing it with her finger. Jerry flinched and twitched. "Yes. Problem?" He asked. "No, it just adds to my little pet's masculinity!" She laughed. He felt uncomfortable with Angela, but shrugged it off. He listened to the ships horn blow, and felt it move.

MeNobody14 (2013-06-01 02:45:09)They arrived back in the N-dimension within three hours. A short trip, and Jerry was glad it was so. He had Vanessa lead him back to the palace, while Brittany and Angela accompanied him. "To many girls.." He muttered. "What'd you say?" Vanessa asked. Jerry stayed silent, and Vanessa's brow raised in curiousity. "Wanna go into some of the shops?" She asked. She winked at Brittany and Angela, and the two returned the sign. "I want to go home." He said stubbornly. "Pleeeaaase?" Vanessa asked. She put on a mock pout, and the other two giggled, knowing he couldn't see it. "Fine.. But only a few." He said.
They lead him into a Jewelry store, and put a necklace on him. He couldn't see it, and didn't notice it because his jacket covered his neck. He stood, silent. Listening to the girls "Ooh" and "Ahh" over different pieces of jewelry. Brittany managed to slip a bracelet on Jerry's wrist, and again, he didn't feel it due to his jacket. He let out a heavy sigh and walked outside. There was a bench right there, and he decided to sit down. The trio didn't notice him leave because they were to busy admiring the expensive pieces.
Even though he couldn't see, Jerry decided to fly around for awhile. He flew in circles in the clouds above the city, and enjoyed the time alone. The open air, the puffy clouds, the blob of light that he thought was the sun. It was perfect up there.
"Jerry?" Vanessa called. They hadn't realized he'd wandered off. "Where'd he go?" She wondered aloud. "Hold on," Brittany said. "Let me get a birds eye view." She slowly rose up into the sky, and Vanessa marveled at how awesome flying looked. Brittany went high up and collided with Jerry. The two plummeted, and nearly crashed, but Angela caught Jerry and Brittany somersaulted and was fine. Jerry groaned, and Angela cradled him, which embarrassed him and made him groan all the more. "Are you okay?" She asked him. He didn't respond. He was still trying to grasp what happened. "I'm going to take him home. You guys can browse a few more stores if you'd like." Angela said to the other two. They agreed to come back a little later, so Angela took Jerry home.
Jerry had fallen asleep in Angela's arms on the way back, so she sat down on the bed with him, so as not to wake him up. She watched him with pride. She remembered watching him grow up. She had been there since he was a toddler, and now he was a teen. She felt like a mother, and she held him closer.

MeNobody14 (2013-06-01 20:55:25)Jerry opened his eyes and yawned. He glanced at his watch and rubbed his eyes to make sure it was right. 3:16 am. His head rested in Angela's lap, and her arms where on his back. He quietly got up, trying not to disturb Angela, and left the room.
Vanessa woke up in a cold sweat. Her mind echoed the same word to her, over and over.. Traitor.. It haunted her dreams, and she decided a walk around the palace might clear her thoughts. She threw on a robe over her nightclothes and exited the room.
It was dark, and Jerry couldn't see his hand infront of his face, so he slowly walked through the palace, keeping close to the wall. He made his way toward the pool, Just like Vanessa.
Vanessa found the pool, and took off her robe. Then, she took off her nightclothes, revealing the swimsuit underneath. She slowly waded into the middle, took a deep breath, and layed on the bottom.
Jerry found the pool a few minutes after Vanessa, and he simply sat on the other side. The pool was one-hundred feet across, twenty feet wide, and, in the middle, ten feet deep. Since it was dark, neither of them could see eachother, so they sat quietly, thinking thoughts to themselves.
I wonder if I'll be able to see again.. Jerry thought.
I wonder if he'll see again.. Vanessa thought.
The two sat for awhile, until Vanessa had to come up for air. She surfaced and gasped, and Jerry gasped, startled to find he wasn't alone. "Hello?" He called out. He perked his ears up and listened for a reply. He heard splashing, and Vanessa arrived a few minutes later. Jerry listened to her clamber out of the pool and sit next to him. "What are you doing up so late?" She asked him. He scratched his head and stayed silent. Still thinking a few final thoughts. Vanessa pulled him close and wrapped a towel around both of them. "I came here to think.." He said. "Me too." Vanessa replied. The two stayed silent, sitting in the dark. The only sounds were the two breathing. "What where you thinking about?" He asked Vanessa. She thought for a moment, and answered; "I was thinking about how my step-father would dissaprove of my actions." She said. He sniffed and rubbed his eyes, then sneezed. "Gazuntiet." She said. "NérfÃ." He replied. "Pardon?" She asked. "It's the native dialect. I said the equivalent of 'Thank You'." He answered. She nodded and hugged him. "I hope you get your sight back." She told him. He nodded and smiled a bit. She smiled and kicked her feet in the water. "Nice pool." She said. He yawned and rested his head on her shoulder. "It was built by my aunt's grandfather, and was expanded by his son, and was finished by my aunt." He told her.

MeNobody14 (2013-06-02 02:58:29)The two sat quietly for a few moments, until Jerry fell alseep. Vanessa thought it best to take him back to his room. He wasn't fully asleep yet, so she was able to lead him through the corridors. Though he had no clue where he was going or what was going on. It was more of a sleepwalking state.
She reached his room in a few short minutes, and opened the door. One of the lights was on, and Angela was sitting in the chair next to it. A worried look etched across her face. She saw Jerry and Vanessa, and nearly leapt up to take him. "Thank you for bringing him back." Angela said. Vanessa nodded in response and left.
Angela cradled him in her arms again, and the two fell asleep quietly. When Angela awoke, Jerry was still in her arms. She smiled and kissed his forehead, hoping he'd wake up. Which, he did. And she smiled even more. His hair was unkempt, and his jacket was wrinkled. "Good morning, Jerry." She said cheerfully. He got up and changed Jackets. "Where are you going in such a hurry?" She asked. "Somwhere.." He said. He kissed her cheek and left. And as soon as he did, Angela burst out in a joyous laugh.
Jerry ran to the "battlements" of the palace. Along the wall, and jumped. He landed on the far side of the palace. The heavely forested area. He stopped for a moment to catch his breath, and took off down a trail.
"Do you need help getting dressed?" Diana asked Vanessa. She had been asked by Jerry to help attend to Vanessa, and to treat her as one of their own. "No thank you." She said. "You may go." She made a shooing motion, and Diana smiled and left. Vanessa dressed in a white sleeveless tunic, khaki loose pants, and moccasins. The 'style' for female N-denizens. She wore a white headband and wrist gaurds aswell. Ready for whatever Jerry had in store today.
Jerry ran for what felt like days at full speed, untill he reached his destination. Mt. Pheron. His friends had gone hunting in the woods and found a ripple. Ripples were signs that a dimension might be coming apart. Or, might be expanding.

MeNobody14 (2013-06-03 00:01:48)Vanessa leapt from rooftop to rooftop. Enjoying the freestyle parkour she was doing. Plus, she was undetected. She made her way at a rapid pace to the spot Jerry told her to meet him. The town fountain.
"Hello Jerry!" A cheery voice said. He emerged from the forest onto the mountain plateau, and saw a cheery face. The woman he saw was his aunt. And behind her were Carmen and Meredith, his sisters, Garry, his best scout and favorite trainer, Harold, his professor, and Merkle, the second scout. "So, whats up?" He asked them. Merkle stepped forward and looked ready to report, but Harold cut him off and started explaing. "As you have heard, there is a confirmed ripple," "I didn't know it was confirmed.." Jerry interrupted. "Don't interrupt me, boy! Now, It is a very small ripple. And could easily amount to nothing. But we must take precautions as to protect ourselves from it." He finished. "Well, lead the way." Jerry answered.
Vanessa waited at the fountain for a few moments, and then decided to wander through a few of the surrounding shops. She found various trinkets and food items, but nothing of real interest. She continued to wander until she ran into Jerry. "Sorry!" She apologized. "Naw, it's okay" He replied. "Where do you wanna go?" She asked him and he shrugged. "You pick."
Jerry examined the ripple. It looked like a massive worm, floating in the air. "Can we close it?" He asked. The professer shrugged. "My knowledge does not include the information needed to seal the ripple." He said. "Hmm.. Merkle." The scout stepped forward again, saluting Jerry. "How would you like to camp out?" Jerry asked him.
"This place is neat!" Vanessa exclaimed. Jerry had lead her to a antique shop full of her favorite thing: Owls. "Ooh! I like this one!" She said, picking up a small barn owl. The heart-shaped face looked adorable to her. "Do you want me to buy this one?" Jerry asked her. "Yes!" She exclaimed.
Jerry returned to the castle after Garry and Merkle agreed to stay and keep an eye on the ripple. Professor Harold, Alexandria, and Carmen decided to continue exploring, Just to make sure there were no more ripples. Meredith decided to accompany him back to the palace. "So, I heard you have a girlfriend now." Meredith said, Smiling. "Girlfriend? Who?" He asked, confused. He looked at her, and nearly ran into a tree because of his lack of concentration. "Nevermind.. Wanna race back?" She asked. "Sure." Jerry said. He smirked, normally his sister would beat him, but not today. "No flying. Just running. Straight through the forest." She said. "GO!" He yelled and they took off.
