Jade rocked back and forth on his heels waiting...and he heard the soft patter of feet behind him-
He had a sudden flashback--an explosion, had to sneak through the fields...quiet, quiet, over a bit of concrete and something smoldering look away look away, look AWAY--
And like that it's over. From the outside it simply looked like a cold chill running through him. He then turned and saw Jasmine. He smiled.
